In year 2000 softball championship, led off bottom of 7th in a tie game, tripled and then tagged up on a shallow fly, scored on a play at the plate for a walk off championship. Won playoff MVP trophy having gone 9 for 12 in postseason.

I was absolutely horrible at sports as a child, but I’ll never forget playing right field in Babe Ruth league with the other team disrespecting me by tagging from second on a fly ball and trying to score at home. I gunned him down like a wamp rat.

| Brushes with famous athletes | Saw Terry Bradshaw in Phoenix airport. No one really said anything until he got up to board when they called first class. Then some people started cheering and he was very friendly, gave some smiles and waves and hopped on the plane. | I went down to Atlanta to visit fellow Pi Lambda Phi brother, Kyle Kufeldt, to see a Braves game. Kyle got awesome seats only two rows back from the home plate end of the Braves dugout. After the game, TBS was interviewing Chipper Jones and he couldn’t have been sitting more than 5 yards in front of us.I heckled Chipper by yelling out that I was a son of his and asked him why he didn’t love my mom anymore. | I was in the Baltimore Ravens locker room after the 2000 AFC Championship |

| Most memorable game you attended | Game 4 of ’99 World Series where the Yanks swept the Braves. | I was at the first game when Clemens struck out 20 Mariners. | I saw Mike Witt pitch a 27 out 1 hitter. The only hit was an infield single in the 8th where the runner was safe on a questionable call at best. |
| Which rule in baseball would you change? | No more suspensions for beanballs and brushbacks! Time to go back to the good old days when batters didn’t stand on top of home plate because guys like Goose Gossage would undress ‘em. | Get rid of the balk. I love seeing pickoffs. | I would have to give it more thought… |
| Most memorable ballparkroadtrip.com experience | Making an unscheduled stop at the Jake in 2001 to catch the last few innings of the Tribe vs. Red Sox. | The best had to be getting Christian Guzman and David Ortiz to sign my Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome popcorn bucket. | All the home runs I missed while buying programs. |
